Leicester Comedy Festival is run by Big Difference Company (registered charity 1135167). All surpluses made via Leicester Comedy Festival are invested back into the event and used to support new comedy talent; the festival has a long tradition of providing a platform for new and emerging comedians.


Did you know that as well as producing the annual Leicester Comedy Festival, and The UK Kids’ Comedy Festival, Big Difference Company work year round on projects which improve people’s lives through comedy, laughter and the arts.

  • Engage with community groups, businesses and organisations to encourage them to use the festival as a platform to promote themselves.
  • Support venues and develop the early evening/night time economy.
